Think you’re a hotshot at “Halo 4”? Find out for sure. 343 Industries, Xbox 360 and Virgin Gaming have joined forces to launch the largest “Halo 4” tournament ever. This summer, gamers will go head-to-head in multiple live events and five weeks of online competition to prove their skills and vie for $500,000 in prizes, including a grand prize of $200,000.
The “Halo 4” Global Championship begins at the Rooster Teeth Expo on July 5 and on Xbox Live on July 15, and features free-for-all matches over a series of qualifying rounds. The finals will be held during a two-day event on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 in Seattle, where one Spartan will emerge victorious and be crowned the grand prize winner.
See the Xbox Wire blog post for more, including details such as that Xbox Live Gold subscription is required for online play.
