Those gomers are going to piss off legions of admins trying to do admin work from the command line because of that stupid symbol being stuck into Active Directory for the Operating System Name. Yeah I bugged that in the beta. It was initially closed because whomever fielded the bug figured it wasn't theres and that someone else had to do something and sent that to me like I can do anything about it. I contacted a friend inside of MSFT and got it reopened but it sounds like it is still not going to be fixed because no one seems to want to own up to the stupidity.

Some people around there need to start using the command prompt more so they understand the issues associated with it and the decisions they make.

joe

Windows Server "Longhorn"

Its Official...Windows Live Server

...is NOT going to be the next name for the
server product currently known as Longhorn.&nbsp; However...

What Windows Server Longhorn will not be called

Surfing around and reading blogs I found some comments from the Windows Server team about what Longhorn...

Locked, Unlocked...Whatever, I Just Want Access

A while back we had a customer contact us that was seeing something with authentication that they were...

What Windows Server Longhorn will not be called

Surfing around and reading blogs I found some comments from the Windows Server team about what Longhorn

The .NET Show: Windows Server "Longhorn"

JuliusS from our team and Volker Will from the developer platform evangelism team recently sat down with for The .NET Show to discuss Windows Server "Longhorn" and our server virtualization technologies.
