Acquisition of Engyro
Microsoft has completed the acquisition of Engyro, a privately held company based in Cincinnati, Ohio which provides software solutions to integrate, consolidate, and simplify IT operations across enterprise management systems.
Engyro's technology allows Operations Manager 2007 to interoperate with different enterprise management systems providing the ability to share alert/event information and therefore gain the benefits for best of breed management for Windows and Microsoft technologies integrated with their non-Microsoft management tools.
Microsoft will incorporate the Engyro technology to extend the interoperability of their System Center family of products (Operations Manager and Service Manager when that is released).
