Congratulations to everyone above for July medals and mentions!
thanks xaml and everyone! I will update the article with hex which is going to be a little more complicated. Maybe their will be some larger binary numbers but that article was meant as an introduction for beginners.
I haven't decided wheter I should try and do a Kinect gesture app in c# and post it in september or post the Kinect code part of my Kinect multipoint project which is almost finished to a point where people can play around with it. Its a pretty simple application when I discuss it but the gesture application will get more complicated quick.
Thank you :) I do hope everyone enjoyed the knife thrower article, I have taken some of the criticism, and on my next articles I will attempt to keep them shorter and less specific.
brilliant piece of work by everyone.....keep going with this.... thumbsss uppp!!!!!
Paul Ishak, well the advice I see is different from what you mention here. I see a lot of advice like this: "If this article sought to educate more on why and when the reader should do specific things, it would be perfect!"
Paul,
Reed's article is a pretty good example of breaking up the code and using each section to educate: social.technet.microsoft.com/.../18704.how-to-handle-a-huge-collection-of-strings-in-vb-net.aspx
Or check out how Steef-Jan's winning article breaks topics down and educates you as it goes: social.technet.microsoft.com/.../18745.provisioning-biztalk-services-using-the-windows-azure-management-portal.aspx
And Matthew's winning article explains each step:
Thanks!

How to transfer records from SQL server to Postgress was my first article in Technet wiki and I spent lot of time researching on how to get the task done ,I was totally new to SSIS followed some blogs , read about SSIS finally it took 15 days days of hard work to get this done.
I am now fan of SSIS ,you could almost transfer records to and from from SQL server to any relational database which only MS can boast off.Needless to mention SSIS has best time as compared to other tools
And it was rewarded with appreciation from Ed and Peter
Thanks
