I got that slogan ("Jump on in! The Wiki is warm!") from Tony Soper. Or some version of it, anyway (I think he used punctuation incorrectly; therefore it's different).

The good thing about the wiki is that you can combine "Blog part 1 - 10" in one article easier and better, like the one i uploaded regarding "health check". It is easier to read it here on the wiki then on a blog where you have all other stuff lying and people don't go there to read too much and or too long posts! :)

Yes. Only Microsoft staff can create MSDN and TechNet blogs. Non MS staff are sometimes added to blogs as authors (like our Wiki Ninjas blog).
Why... The MSDN and TechNet blogs are an official source of Microsoft news and of accurate information that's leveraged by book authors and the press.

So in this case, the "blogs" this article talks about would be non-MSDN/TechNet blogs for most non-Microsoft staffers.
