This set of virtual machines enables you to demonstrate and test Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 in a fully configured environment with sample data. In order to run this demo you will need the following:

·       Windows Server 2008 R2 with the Hyper-V role enabled

·       NTFS drive formatting

·       Intel VT- or AMD-V-capable processor

·       8 GB RAM or more recommended

·       50 GB hard disk space required for install

What’s all the fuss about Windows 7 “GodMode”? It probably has more to do with the moniker than anything else, but as The Deployment Guys point out in their blog, that’s not the name used internally here at Microsoft. The Microsoft security response center has released Microsoft Security Advisory 979352, alerting customers to limited, sophisticated attacks targeting Internet Explorer 6 customers. Today, samples of that exploit were made publicly available. The Security Research & Defense blog explains that the attacks to date only affect customers using IE6.
