I'm currently in the process of migrating to my own Exchange Server 2007,witch has SQL 2005 and I will have to migrate user from MI8.COM a hosting company,can I proform the migration without an upgrade to SQL 2008

Well, SQL Server isn't the back-end for Exchange, so I'm not sure what you're asking. Can you explain a little more?
