• Dynamics AX MVP is a Top Influencer

Dynamics World, a Microsoft Dynamics resource community from UK, has listed The Microsoft Dynamics Top 100 Influential People 2009. This list is intended to provoke thought and reward those that have achieved something extraordinary within Microsoft Dynamics.

Arijit Basu, a Dynamics AX MVP from Kolkata, India, has been recognized at the 11th spot on the list. Being amongst the top influential people in the domain globally is a great achievement, and a feather in the cap for the MVP program too.

The list assesses individuals on several factors like how many people are affected in Microsoft Dynamics by their decisions, how many people do they have regular contact with in the community, how long have they been involved in the community and the positive feedback they get, and how many certifications do they have achieved. • MVP in India, Speaker in Seattle

Session abstract of Jacob Sebastian, a SQL Server MVP from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on XML Schema Collections has been approved by the PASS Summit Program Committee and Jacob will have the, in his own words, ‘great’ opportunity to speak at the PASS Summit 2009 in Seattle, Washington later this year.

    2009PASS

The presentation - SQL Server 2008 - Create powerful XML Schema collections to validate your XML documents focuses on explaining how effectively XML Schema Collections can be used to validate XML documents that a database application exchanges. Incidentally, the presentation is based on Jacob’s recent book, The Art of XSD – SQL Server XML Schema Collections, which as we’ve blogged about before is available as a free download.

If you are at the PASS Summit in November, you’ll find Jacob at the Red-Gate booth. Be warned, his XML enthusiasm is infectious!
