'Charity' is part of "Season One" of the animated Cha-Ching music videos. It highlights the three ways to Donate - - giving time/talent, money and goods --- to help help others. Arnel Pineda recorded this duet with Chairity in a "power ballad" arrangement showcasing
his signature soaring rock vocals.
Arnel Pineda's version of the Charity song is featured in a three-minute music video with all new animation sequences featuring the global relief efforts following the devastation of Super Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. The music video aims to introduce children to
real-life situations in which the money-smart value of donating may be practiced. Pineda also appears in the new episode as an animated character. This song/video hopes to broaden the awareness of issues that we need to respond to and involves even the youngest
members of our society.
Arnel Pineda became the lead singer of Journey in 2007. He has his own charitable organization, the Arnel Pineda Foundation Inc. (APFI) and recently recorded the single "Listen With Your Heart" with other famed Filipino music artists as a tribute to the victims
of super typhoon Yolanda and a gesture of thanks for the aid extended by over 50 countries in the aftermath of the natural disaster.

I don't like to donate to charity organisations,because the board of directors of those organisations are like politicians and consume most of the money with big salaries and bonusses. It's better to help direct people you know,then you have the warranty
that 100% of your donation will come to the right people. All the attention is going to Tacloban and in many surrounding villages people got not even a bottle of water. Yolanda has blown the roof from the house of the parents of my wife,who live in Layog,near
to Campocpoc-Leyte. I've sent them money to repair the roof and other damage. I've been last week in Tacloban and the situation is after a six months still a dissaster,because no-one seems to take the lead to put people there at work,to clean up the mess.
They have to clean up the mess,to have space to rebuild the city. I've understand,that the total amount of donations is
100 billion peso,where is all that money,because it's not visible in Tacloban that they have spend much.
I was in Tacloban two weeks ago. They still need help ... please don't stop helping. Our team partnered with NCCP/ ACT Alliance during our visit. They are helping families in Jinamoc Island in Basey, Samar rebuild their homes.
