If you haven’t figured it out yet, you can change your Windows 7 login screen. There are a number of utilities out there that can help you with this – I found this one to be the best I’ve used thus far. It correctly previews the aspect ratio of the image that you want to use in a preview mode before you apply the change. I’m not sure what the proper dimensions are – but not every picture is going to look right as your login screen, so this app does a fine job of showing you that so you don’t have to keep locking and un-locking your PC to test it.
