Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 have now been Released to Manufacturing.

I got to see Ballmer and Turner sign off RTM for Windows 7 last week at our Microsoft Conference. What a great moment!  :o) 

Availability dates are already published as follows:

·        OEMs: 24th July

·        ISVs/IHVs/MSDN and TechNet Subscribers: 6th August

·        Volume License with Software Assurance: 7th August

·        Microsoft Partner Program Gold/Certified Members: 16th August. Remaining languages will be available by 1st October.

·        Microsoft Action Pack Subscribers: 23rd August. Remaining languages will be available by 1st October.

·        General Availability (GA) Launch for everyone else: 22nd October
