• MVA Live Event: Azure IaaS for IT Pros

    Mark Russinovich, Microsoft Chief Technology Officer (Azure), is kicking off a week of Azure training for IT Professionals on December 1st.  Mark will be joined by the likes of Rick Claus, Senior Technical Evangelist, and members of the Azure Engineering team. Tune in as they deep dive into the cloud technologies critical for IT Pro Implementers. You can also use these 4 days to prepare for Exam 70-533: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions , the Microsoft Azure Specialist Certification.

    Some of the session times may not suit Australia, however I suggest you register to gain access to post event resources before these sessions become on-demand courses on MVA.

    Jump onto MVA for more information on the week of content, presenters and how to register.

  • TechEd 2014, new MVA greatness and your Hero status awaits...

    With two TechEd's throughout October and the Microsoft Azure Australian Geo launch, it has definitely been a busy month for Microsoft Australia. If you didn't get the chance to make it to TechEd Sydney or Melbourne, all the sessions are now up on Channel9 and paired with MVA courses for you to go deeper in all areas. If you want you can skip straight to skip straight to the keynote by our Executive Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise, Scott Guthrie. He was a crowd favourite!

    Microsoft Virtual Academy has also had a huge month. There have been many MANY new course releases, but I wanted to call out a few that may be more relevant to you;

    New courses are great, right? Yes, but what's even better? A free t-shirt!! At the moment you can sign up to be an MVA Hero! Then you can start earning your Hero badges and be one of the first to collect all the figurines. All the details you need to become an MVA Hero are here.

    Cheers,
