No. I know that this is frustrating, but they know what the issue is and are working on it. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'll update this when it is available.

Thanks. Haha yeah I got the email midnight last night and was going to try to be one of the first to update to RC. Do you know if there is an in place upgrade of the Public Beta to RC?

Ehhhh. No. Evidently the word is that we made store changes and that if you tried to mount the databases after the upgrade, they would fail. The only upgrade path is from RC to RTM.

So would there be any way to back up the Mailbox?

Or would we have to export each user as a .pst?

If you only have one server, then yes, you would need to do the .pst export. If you have the hardware to support another server then you can install the RC into the same org and move the mailboxes.

I have been attempting the in place upgrade from 2010 RC, and it has lead to only failures, where all of the services are disabled.

What is the trick to this?
