I appreciate the posting. One thing that would really be beneficial is to merge the vista mail & live mail desktop products. As you can see from someone who works within Microsoft, it just is not clear to the customer.

MS has done this with great success for IE7 - please take the suggestion to heart and use Vista SP1 as a ship vehicle for live mail desktop!

Thanks for the suggestion, John - I'll pass that along to the WLMD team, though I think the intention always was to supercede Windows Mail in Vista with the Live Mail desktop - it's just that the latter wasn't finished in time to ship along with Vista.
