Good list. I would recommend Bob Lewis – Keep the Joint Running: A Manifesto for 21st Century Info Technology.
Lewis has the most succinct description of the elements and nature of a business process that one will find. Also his description of the innate power of ‘them-ness’ and the human need to form groups and boundaries is immediately germane and applicable to what
DevOps is trying to accomplish.
I would also recommend Velocity by Jacob, Bergland and Cox. A novel similar to The Goal and Phoenix Project this book, though set in a manufacturing setting, can inform DevOps in its focus on viewing the organization as a holistic system. Along the way it emphasizes
the comparative strengths and weaknesses of frameworks such as Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints.
