Sessões Técnicas
No post anterior, falei dos palestrantes internacionais para os Keynote Speakers. Mas, que dizer das sessões técnicas, que acontecerão nos dias 06 e 07 de Dezembro ? Bem, temos novidades também....
A primeira palestrante confirmada foi Laura Chappell.. A história dela é incrível.. conhecida como "hacker do bem", Laura trabalha para órgãos tais como o FBI e a CIA, como consultora de segurança. Ela já veio ao Brasil algumas vezes e com certeza, vai se um show à parte (olha essa reportagem dela da semana passada - Brincos USB são arma de perita em segurança da informação .) Conheci Laura no Teched US este ano, e como um bom brasileiro, fui convidá-la para vir ao nosso Teched e ela topou ;-). Ela vai fazer 2 palestras; uma sobre análise forense e outra sobre técnicas de ataque e análise de logs... pessoal, eu garanto, a mulher manda bem.... quem já ouviu falar dela ou teve a oportunidade de assistir alguma palestra, pode confirmar.
Além de Laura (que não é funcionária Microsoft), temos confirmados 2 funcionários da Microsoft Corporation: Michael Kerle, do mesmo time do keynote speaker Eric Swift, que falará sobre Unified Communications. Ele está rodando algumas cidades em um roadshow de lançamento mundial da Microsoft de UC e promete repetir o mesmo conteúdo aqu no Brasil. E teremos também Ani Babaian, Product Manager de Identidade, que falará sobre Cardspace, Gerenciamento de Identidade e Roadmap.... Abaixo segue as BIOs das "feras"...

Laura Chappell, Protocol/Security Analyst for Protocol Analysis
Laura Chappell is the Founder of Wireshark University and the Sr. Protocol/Security Analyst for Protocol Analysis Institute. Ms. Chappell is a highly-energetic speaker and author of numerous industry titles on network analysis, network forensics, and security. She has trained thousands of network administrators, State and Federal law enforcement officers, judicial members, engineers, technicians and developers. Ms. Chappell is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and an Associate Member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) since 1989. Her blend of humor, personal experiences, energy, and clarity have earned her a top spot as an industry speaker at numerous conferences including Microsoft TechEd, Novell BrainShare, High Technology Crime Investigation Association, United States Judiciary Networks, and the HP Technology Forum. In June 2006, the Hollywood Reporter announced that Walt Disney Pictures has picked up a feature film based on Laura’s work in cybercrime. Working title: Mother of Invention.
Michael Kerle, Senior Technical Product – Microsoft Corporation
Michael Kerle is a Senior Technical Product Manager within Microsoft’s Unified Communications Group, where he is responsible for the Voice over IP solution, particularly the user experience, mobility and the worldwide internal deployment. Before he was one of the founders and vice president marketing of media-streams.com, a Swiss company that developed and successfully marketed the world’s first completely distributed VoIP based telephone system integrated into Microsoft Outlook. The firm was acquired by Microsoft in fall 2005. Michael gained his first several years’ professional experience working for Siemens in different product and business development management positions. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Communications as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration Marketing degree, both from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
Ani Babaian, Identity Product Manager – Microsoft Corporation
After holding the Developer Evangelist role for 1.5 years in the Developer and Platform group based in Denver, CO, Ani Babaian has recently joined the Connected Systems Division as the new Identity Product Manager on the .NET Framework Product Management Team.
Previously she worked with Statera - a Microsoft Partner focusing on software development and systems engineering. She worked as a Consultant for Statera and specialized in .NET development, SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies.
Ani’s professional career at Statera has spanned working as a consultant or software architect for numerous companies large and small. She has been involved in software and system architecture, code and development reviews and analysis of several companies for salability, security, performance, standards and practices. She has also been integral with leading teams and with business analysts duties, proving her worth as a well rounded solution provider.
Ani is an experienced presenter and presented both regionally in the Denver area as well as abroad in Local events in Tehran, Iran. She has participated in numerous local and national user groups.
Along with Ani’s many professional accomplishments, she is also very involved in her community by volunteering and coaching athletes in the Special Olympics as well as being an avid contributor to the Armenians of Colorado organization.
