Le nouveau “Feature Pack” de DPM 2007 devrait sortir sous peu, il regroupe les hotfix suivants:

Il apportera ces nouvelles fonctionnalités :

Support for backing up virtual machines on clustered Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 hosts

Support for sharing tape libraries between multiple DPM servers

Better tape utilization of tape capacity by co-locating data from multiple protection groups with similar retention range

System state protection for Windows Server 2008

Il corrige plusieurs bugs entre DPM 2007 et Windows Server 2008.

Pour le moment, le “system State” de Windows Server 2008 n’est toujours pas sauvegardable, mais Microsoft y travaille et ceci sera bientôt possible. :)
