I have an unbranded device , have mango but dont see these updates , is there anyway to force zune to see it ?

since it's unbranded as u said, Zune would only recognize it as a WP device.. which means it won't be phone specific, therefore it won't detect your phone as an HTC device... get what i mean?

Unbranded doesn't make it seen just as a generic WP device. Unbranded only means, that it's not carrier "branded", which would make you more dependant on a carrier releasing a firmware or software update. My question is the same tho, well, slightly different: Is there a way to force this update on a Orange CH branded device, as these guys are extremely slow with releasing ANYTHING.... ?

Actually this update is provided by HTC. This is OEM specific and it will be pushed through Zune.
