By now, I'm hopeful that you saw the new US partner learning newsletter, "The Learning Curve", delivered to your e-mail inbox this morning (Monday, August 25). If you are a member of the Microsoft Partner Program based in the US, you will receive this newsletter as a benefit of your membership twice monthly (second/fourth Mondays). This newsletter complements the Microsoft Partner Program edition that you currently receive on the first and third Mondays of each month. Feedback from you indicates that not only do you often feel beleaguered by the amount of e-mail you receive from Microsoft, you also are not always sure about why you are receiving a communication.

This new alignment of two newsletters into a consistent, predictable schedule, format, and style is one way we are trying to respond to your feedback and improve your experience with us. The best part for me is that both newsletters, the Microsoft partner newsletter and The Learning Curve, will always contain the latest information about instructor-led training in your geography and suggestions for e-learning training too.

In this week's newsletter, we focused on SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V, and Essential Business Server, all products launching/releasing in the upcoming months. It's worth repeating the resources for technical and sales training because these are such important products for our customers and therefore for you. The course list links below are on the Partner Learning Center (PLC) and to see them, you will need to sign into the PLC with your Windows Live ID.

SQL Server 2008 sales training; SQL Server 2008 technical training.

Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V sales training; Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V technical training

Windows Essential Business Server 2008 sales training; Windows Essential Business Server 2008 technical training

There are also many other goodies in the newsletter, so if it's in your inbox and you haven't taken a peek, I hope you will take a few minutes and do so!

Until next time,

Deb
