About the US Partner Learning Team

The Microsoft US partner learning team may be small, but we are fiercely passionate about the success of our partners. Led by our fearless director, Deb Ziegenhorn, the US partner learning team is aligned around three primary goals, all with partners at the center:

  1. Deliver exceptional partner experiences;
  2. Develop partner capability and capacity, and improve performance;
  3. Drive measurable business impact.

Learning and Curriculum Strategy – Team Lead, Kristie Weigel

Responsible for understanding business priorities and translating them into learning opportunities.  They are the larger team’s Learning Advisors, whether that means mapping to our customer campaigns to insure partners are ready to catch customer opportunities or developing a new Business readiness curriculum.

Delivery and Infrastructure Operations – Team Lead, Jake Schenkein

Responsible for keeping our infrastructure and delivery engines running and developing new learning modalities designed to offer partners the training they need, when they  need it, and in a way that they want to consume it. They seek to demystify Microsoft Partner Program Competency, Specialization, and certification attainment and deliver sales training and resources to help partners accelerate pipeline velocity and reduce time to close.

Regional Enablement Directors

Jennifer Turvold (East Region); Scott Akin (Central Region); Margaret Valentine (West Region)

Geographically aligned to the US Subsidiary Regions, these three people work closely with our Field Sales and Marketing teams to build the right partner capacity in each Region and help to ensure that our readiness activities align directly to the needs of the business.
