About Ed Leary

Ed Leary joined us from Hewlett Packard where he spent the past 30 years in numerous technical, marketing, and management positions. As a long time employee of DEC, Compaq, and finally HP, Ed experienced the full breadth of Microsoft Windows products early on. Working in DEC’s NT Systems Group on AlphaNT and providing worldwide technical support for the original Clusters for Windows NT, Ed was also on the board of directors for DEC’s Windows NT Wizards organization that evangelized NT in it’s early, formative days. He has been a manager and technical team leader on countless Federal bids where he has worked closely with many people at Microsoft Federal. Ed also provided technical support for DEC’s Compaq’s and HP’s marketing efforts in the Federal space and has teamed up with Microsoft Federal marketing on a number of product rollouts. Ed is married with two college-age children and lives in the Edgewater, MD area, where his wife and he raise horses, along with a number of other farm animals. Ed is a pre-sales Windows TS for desktop deployment focused on preparing for VISTA.
