About Larry Talbot
I have spent the last 10 years + working in security and PKI within Microsoft. I began this stint within IT, deploying and managing Microsoft's corporate PKI. During this time, I was actively involved in numerous PKI related deployment efforts including our smart card deployment, S/MIME an retiring Exchange KMS, EFS data and key recovery, and our corporate IPSec deployment.
In May of 2008, I moved into Windows Security as a program manager for certificate services, where I could apply the practical deployment knowledge I had gained towards helping to design and build a better product within Windows.
