About Jochen Kunert

Jochen graduated at University of Techology in Darmstadt/Germany in 2000. He has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration, Economics and Law. End of 1999 he started working as Product Manager for VoIP products for Siemens Switzerland with delegation to Siemens Headquarter in Munich/Germany. As one of the founders of media-streams.com AG he switched jobs in April 2001 and started the German subsidiary of media-streams as General Manager. He transitioned to fulfill a Business Development position at media-streams.com HQ in Zurich/Switzerland in July 2004. After the acquisition of media-streams.com AG by Microsoft in October 2005, he moved with his family to Microsoft HQ in Redmond, WA USA in January 2006. In Redmond his first position was Program Manager on the Office Communications Server team, then he transitioned for one year as Senior Program Manager to the Technology Adoption Program team and finally in December 2007 to the Lighthouse Engineering team for Unified Communications products. In this role he relocated to Germany in April 2008 and is now providing product team support "Lighthouse" customers in EMEA. Jochen is also co-author of the Office Communications Server 2007 Reskit Book. He is married to his wife Aniko and has two sons Quentin and Vincent.
