By our standards it's quite subtle, but there's no doubting that Windows Vista is behind this new site at http://www.clearification.com/. If you don't know Demitri Martin (i.e. you are one of the 95% of human beings living outside of the USA) you may not recognise the voice. But you may still enjoy the humor (i.e. humour).

This was recently voted Britain's funniest joke:

A woman gets on a bus, carrying her baby. As she pays her fare, the driver says 'Urghh, that's the ugliest baby I've ever seen.' The woman goes to the back of the bus, fuming with indignation, and sits down next to another passenger. She turns to the passenger, and says 'Did you hear what the driver said to me? I was so shocked, I couldn't even speak!' So the other passenger, sympathetic, says 'Never mind, dear, you go back there and tell him what you think of him. I'll hold your monkey for you.

It's official: I'm British. I laugh every time I hear the punchline.

My Mouse has a Dirty Bottom

What is that stuff that keeps building up on my mouse's bottom? No matter how many times I clean it off and scrub the surrounding desk area it keeps coming back. I don't use a mouse mat because the Health & Safety Police told me it's better to use the wide area of the desk to help avoid RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). Wise advice, but the price I pay is having a constantly mucky mouse underside.

Someone once told me that wiping a dirty bottom on a sheet of paper is a pretty good way to clean the gunk off. It's true, it works. Any other advice from fellow mouse masters or should I just resign myself to giving it a good polish every day?
