natty SHORTCUT for oUTLOOK Capitalisation problems
If you use Word as your email editor here's a handy shortcut that's worth remembering.
Highlight some text then press SHIFT+F3. This changes the capitalisation of the highlighted text, toggling between these four options:
- Initial Capitals (also known as "Title Case")
- ALL CAPITALS
- all lower case
- Sentence case (the first letter of sentence is capitalised, everything that follows is lower cased)*
[* Obviously this last one is only possible if the first word of the sentence is highlighted or selected]
This is handy if you accidentally press the Caps Lock key and unexpectedly find yourself TYPING ENTIRELY IN CAPITALS. Just highlight the bit you want to change and hit SHIFT+F3 until you get the desired result.
