&lt;p&gt;I tested categories and wasn't able to sync those over to Outlook Mobile.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My guess would be categories are of low use in Outlook therefore low on the priority list for Outlook Mobile features.&lt;/p&gt;
