And This Morning, I Didn't Like Podcasts

Published 10 February 05 07:04 PM | tristank

My experience to date with podcasting has been that I'd rather not, thank you. Nice that you're excited about it, but bluntly, I have a problem not being able to visually skip content when someone's talking about the weather, and when it sounds like they recorded the 'cast using the paper-cup-and-string method.

I was pointed at the G'day World Aussie Podcast by a blogless (and so identityless) friend, who said I was mentioned (so how could I not try it?), and, well, I'm subscribing now. Cameron and Mick do an excellent job hosting, Frank was a very interesting interviewee, and the production values of the 'cast were staggeringly good.

Recommended.

I'm an attention sponge, so yeah, I liked the mention! :)

I especially enjoyed the history of the MSN / On Australia / NineMSN stuff, that was really good to hear from the horse's mouth.

it's easy to be a host when we have guests on the show like frankarr! he's da man. thanks for tuning in Tristan. Hope you stick around, we've got some great shows in the archive (check out Doc Searls, Robert Scoble, Marc Orchant, etc) and some great shows about to come out (Steve Rubel, Ewan Spence, et al).

Hi Tristan, <br> <br>apologies in advance for the off-topic comment but I couldn't find a way to communicate directly with you on the site (if there is one, put it down to a lack of caffeine on my part - it is early Monday morning here!). <br> <br>Somebody left a comment on my site signed with your name and pointed at this blog. The comment was inocuous, but my Spam Karma plugin killed it (killed because Used HTTP_VIA header - SYDITGPRXY01. <br>OSA: Code invalid/forged (IP potentially different). <br> <br>I have Spam Karma configured to notify me when it kills comments and normally it is just spam I see. This comment was different, though. It pointed at a legitimate site, when I checked your blog, you have an interest in ISA Server and my post was about ISA Server, so I posted the comment myself and put in the link to this site. <br> <br>If the comment wasn't left by you - feel free to email me and I'll remove it immediately - my email addy is tom at domainname. <br> <br>Cheers, and apologies again for the off-topic comment, <br> <br>Tom <br> <br>
