Installing Adobe 8 on Vista
I've seen a few posts on how to do this, but the following is the only way I could get it done.
- Right Click the Adobe 8 executable (AdbeRdr80_en_US.exe)
- Click on the "Compatibility" tab
- Check the box under "Compatibility mode" for "Run this program in.....
- Choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
- Click OK
Now go back and run the Adobe executable and the install should go.
