Windows Vista webcasts
If you’ve been keeping track of the TechNet webcasts blog, Dean and Angela have been having all the fun here thus far. As a short introduction, I’m the content manager for TechNet webcasts. I work with all of the different product teams and other stakeholders to plan specifically what they’ll be webcasting in upcoming months. So I get the scoop before you see it on the TechNet webcasts site. I’m a former systems administrator, so it often feels like I’m a kid in a candy store with all of the insider knowledge to absorb.
We have some big plans for April and May – some you may have already seen on the calendar, some is coming soon. We’re really excited to be kicking off some first looks at Windows Vista in April. Starting on April 9, and running on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout April, we’ll be starting with an overview and subsequently drilling into some of the changes that Windows Vista will bring to IT Professionals’ roles and routines. We divide these into some areas that you might specialize in your day-to-day work (management, security).
In May we’ll be focusing on planning for deployment, as some of the tools and processes have changed or been improved. You can sign up for the webcasts here: http://www.microsoft.com/events/series/technetvista.mspx. In fact, I’d bookmark that page, as we’ll be running lots of valuable Windows Vista webcasts each month throughout the rest of the year. Here are the webcasts posted thus far:
