I really like the new Layout I saw when I just logged in, it does make things easier in many ways for finding products, and I really like it. Downloading and getting the product keys has been made much easier now.

Just noticed a few things that are missing from the old layout that I always used, and was wondering if they would be added again at some point:

1)A place that tells the new releases that have been added to the site, right now I don’t see any way of finding what is newly added.

2)For MAK product keys (win vista enterprise for example) next to the product key it would say how many keys were used, like 3/15 or whatever, windows server 2008 had that too.

3)Also earlier this week Desktop Optimization Pack for software assurance x86 and x64 was posted for download. I did not get it at the time and went to download it today and it was nowhere to be found, just a 2007 version that was grayed out. Will that be posted again?

While I like most of the new UI for subscriber downloads - there is one feature that is missing that to me is a mistake not to include - the ability to search downloads by date and see quickly and easily what is new.  I would log on once or twice a week to see if something was new.  Now - I'd have to browse through all the categories to find new materials...  Am I missing something?

The new Technet site is is more worse then before! Where can I see what is new at the download page? Why I could see things I cannot download, like Windos 98? This update is very disappointet....Sorry to say this.

It is very frustrating to have to go through the whole of the UI, including things that either do not exist anymore or that I cannot download, just to be able to find out what is new to the downloads.

I had it set before so that when I logged in I would see the additions by date. It was simple and quick. The new UI is anything but simple and quick.

And I cannot for the life of me see why we have to have old products that are no longer available for download cluttering up the UI.

I also miss the new downloads page to see what is new.  It is also confusing with all the programs listed that don't have downloads such as MapPoint, Windows 98, and Windows NT.  I also think it would be nice to have the count back of how many times MAK keys had been used.  If anything I think it would be nice to have that for every key.
