Bob Muglia kicked off the sold-out TechEd 2006, by detailing Microsoft’s commitment to helping IT professionals and developers design, deploy and operate an infrastructure for the “People-Ready” Business (IT ready). Ray Ozzie and Chris Capossela re-iterated to the more than 11,000 attendees that "service disruptions" cost enterprises billions of dollars, and Microsoft is devoted to help prevent the "disruptions" through the advances in Microsoft technologies.
