Por isso, um servidor VirtualCenter é pré-requisito para o gerenciamento do VMware a partir do VMM, e a maioria das instalações corporativas do VMware terá pelo menos um servidor VirtualCenter. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;A novidade do VMM 2008 é a possibilidade de gerenciar vários servidores VirtualCenter.    &lt;br /&gt;Isto permite a um administrador agregar toda a infra-estrutura VMware, &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.microsoft.com/brasil/servidores/windowsserver2008/virtualization/default.mspx"&gt;Hyper-V&lt;/a&gt; e Virtual Server, fornecendo uma exibição corporativa única que não era possível até então.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h4&gt;Até VMotion?&lt;/h4&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Com um host VMware ESX, o VMM 2008 também oferece suporte a VMware VMotion, o recurso VMware que migra VMs sem que haja tempo de inatividade perceptível ao usuário. Todo e qualquer par&amp;#226;metro que n&amp;#227;o exista ou que seja necess&amp;#225;rio no Hyper-V, ser&amp;#225; devidamente tratado.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h4&gt;Recomenda&amp;#231;&amp;#245;es&lt;/h4&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Para usar o VMC2HV &amp;#233; recomendado estar com a vers&amp;#227;o do Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 ou Virtual PC 2007 SP1 e suas corre&amp;#231;&amp;#245;es. Al&amp;#233;m disso, a ferramenta n&amp;#227;o substitui o SCVMM 2008 que esta para ser lan&amp;#231;ado.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h4&gt;Recursos&lt;/h4&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Dentre os principais recursos, o VMC2HV oferece suporte ao seguinte:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Importar arquivos VMC do VS2005 e VPC2007;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Cria a VM no host Hyper-V local ou remoto;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Validar o caminho do VHD e do ISO, quando for o caso;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Permite especificar propriedades de BIOS, portas COM, processador, mem&amp;#243;ria, disco e rede;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Suporte a Windows Vista e Windows Server 2008, em 32-bits e 64-bits.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;  &lt;h4&gt;Requisitos&lt;/h4&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Toda e qualquer m&amp;#225;quina virtual dever&amp;#225; estar desligada, o &amp;#8220;Save State&amp;#8221; dever&amp;#225; ser mesclado e &amp;#8220;Undo&amp;#8221; dever&amp;#225; ser descartado.
