My Sierra Wireless AC875 with AT&T Connection Manager is not working.

Published 17 March 09 12:36 PM | teammb

The driver shows error in device manager using the default ATT connection manager drivers in ACM-6.10.

The 32 bit USB filter driver may be getting copied instead of 64-bit by the AT&T CM. Please use the following workaround:-

  1. You need to be an admin on the machine.
  2. Delete the file %systemdrive%\windows\syswow64\drivers\swmsflt.sys
  3. Copy the file %systemdrive%\program files(x86)\sierra wireless\tru-install\drivers\swmsflt64.sys  to directory %systemdrive%\windows\system32\drivers and rename the file swmsflt64.sys to swmsflt.sys.
  4. Reboot the machine.
