A lot of Scottish Partners have been looking at the content from the MIX 08 conference held earlier this year in Las Vegas. A lot have commented that it would have been great to attend Mix or were they meaning Vegas!

Anyway the good news is that in a couple of months time, Microsoft is holding a 2 day event - Remix UK 08 at Brighton. Just like Vegas, but without the casinos!!

ReMix UK 08 is all about next generation web. With boundaries continuing to blur between developers and designers, consumers and producers, and TVs, PCs and mobile devices, ReMix UK 08 asks 'where next for the web?'

Livemeeting Service for Gold and Certified Partners

A number of Scottish Partners have been asking the Microsoft Scotland team about Livemeeting, and more importantly why is this not available to Partners as part of the Partner Program. A good question, which we have fed back to our colleagues in the MS Partner Program team both in the UK and US.

The good news is that from March 1st 2008, we will be offering Gold and Certified Partners Office Live Meeting licenses for evaluation. Certified MSPP Partners are granted 15 Live Meeting Professional named user licenses for use within our Certified Partner Conference Center. Gold MSPP partners will receive 30 Live Meeting Professional named user licenses for use within our Gold Partner Conference Center.
