We recently announced the imminent arrival of a new agreement - Select Plus - which is available from 1 October. Like Select, it will be available through Large Account Resellers.

Why is this new agreement being introduced?
Select Plus has been developed in response to customer feedback and will replace Select agreements in the long term. For the next few years, customers will be able to choose between a Select Plus and a Select agreement. We think there are lots of good reasons why they’ll want to go for Select Plus.

So how is Select Plus different from Select?

· Select Plus agreements last forever (no fixed term) – this is more flexible for customers, avoids time-pressured renewals and helps develop long-term relationships/loyalty

· There is just one single customer ID for everything a customer buys under a Select Plus agreement – this makes asset management and tracking much easier

· No more forecasting – customers earn discounts automatically according to what they buy, so Microsoft is rewarding them for past business

· Customers get a better deal on Software Assurance when they buy it part-way through their agreement
