The Microsoft Hyper-V team are demob happy as they head to the South of France to take a booth as Gold Sponsors of VMWorld Europe. Nothing quite like a bit of winter sun to cheer up the wet Seattle winter.

They are doubly chuffed to read the report published by Yankee group which identifies the growing price pressure on VMWare from Microsoft, Citrix/Xensource and others whose products retail for some 40-70% less per socket than the market leader.
