&lt;p&gt;I'm not sure what exposure you've had to some of the MMO forums, but after reading both the original comment and some of the follow-on articles, I smell what we affectionately know as a &amp;quot;troll&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Personally, I believe the author is having quite a good chuckle to themselves about now (though I'm not denying the possibility they're genuinely that misguided).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Update: I just noticed this fellow posted twice - you should read his second response. This post, more than the first, convinces me they're trolling. It's too well crafted to incite rebuttals from a defined target audience.&lt;/p&gt;
