The 2010 system will give users a consistent experience across devices, making it easier to collaborate and create and share documents from any location, using a PC, phone or web browser.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;We will announce new delivery and licensing models to help reduce costs&amp;#160; and improve deployment and management options for IT professionals, including on-premise or cloud deployment options. The 2010 system will be an expanded platform on which developers can create new applications.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Office 2010, SharePoint Server 2010, Visio 2010 and Project 2010 are scheduled to enter technical preview in Q3 2009 and RTM in the first half of 2010. However, as with most Microsoft technologies., SharePoint's capability and functionality is significantly increased when it is integrated with other technologies in the Microsoft stack. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;By combining the capabilities of SharePoint Server 2007 and Office 2007, companies can provide their employees with a feature-rich yet familiar user interface. Users can interact and edit documents stored on SharePoint Server from directly within the Office clients, without needing to open a web browser. Ultimately this means new SharePoint users can make use of advanced SharePoint collaboration and document management tools directly from programs they are already comfortable with, while advanced SharePoint users can choose to interact with documents and SharePoint site either directly from SharePoint or from the Office suite.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;In this series of blog posts, I will be highlighting some of the integration between Office 2007 and SharePoint Server 2007.
