  • Angelbeat event wrap up for Portland….

(Actually…..we are really in Tigard, OR) Another great Angelbeat event today!  The event is still going on and I have already delivered my presentation. I am now listening to a Juniper Networks presenter talk about network infrastructure and simplifying network topology and physical layouts. Again I saw a few familiar faces from previous Technet events I have delivered in the area. I also fielded some great question on DirectAccess, BitLocker, Sharepoint, and exchange 2010 during some networking.

  • Interop Road Show Screencasts

As some of you know I have been delivering road shows across the country.  We even did a simulcast with a webcast from the Downers Grove event.  This event we did a great job, although the demo videos may not have been the best quality, but you can see that web cast here: Integrate Your IT Environment, Roadshow Questions, Answers, and Resources   My buddy Keith decided to record some great high quality audio and video screencasts from the session one demos, which showed how Linux authenticated

  • Interop Road Show Webcast - live this week on 5/6/2009

On Wednesday May 6th, we’ll be broadcasting the Interop Road Show .  Actually it’s going to be a bit of a simulcast.  Matt Hester will be in Downers Grove, IL doing a live delivery of the sessions, and we’ll pick up the audio and demonstrations via the magic of Microsoft LiveMeeting. In addition to having Matt present the sessions, we’ll also have Kevin Remde and Shawn Travers onsite helping to manage the questions and get Matt’s attention.  And that’s not all.  I’ll also be helping

  • Install Open Source Software (OSS) on Windows the easy way

Some of you have attended the Interop Road Show events we are currently delivering across the USA.  At those events you have seen us install Apache, MySQL, PHP, Drupal and Wordpress on Windows Server 2008.  Astute observation will reveal some of the installs and tweaks aren’t particularly easy, and especially prone to error in front of a live audience. Want to do it the easy way? Introducing the Web Platform Installer ( Web PI ).  There are a couple of versions available.  The

  • Windows Client Road Show Featuring Windows 7, R2 and Internet Explorer 8

Spring brings not only rain and flowers (you know, April shows and May flowers), it also brings our spring technical events. But we are also doing something different for the spring
