Die Server Core Versionen von Windows Server 2008 und R2 besitzen kein User-Interface sondern nur das Command Prompt. Die Befehle für die Installation der Server-Rollen, Firewall-Settings, AD-Integration etc. sind allerdings nicht unbedingt leicht zu merken.
