If you've ever want to share your upcoming calendar with a colleague or customer, there's a feature in Outlook 2007 that makes this easy to do—even if the recipient isn't using Outlook themselves. It's called Calendar Snapshot, and it lets you choose exactly which dates and how much detail to include before packaging it up and sending a picture of your day, week, or selected date range. To send a calendar snapshot: 1. Click the Calendar button to open it. 2. Click the Send a Calendar via E-mail link

So this post is born out of my playing with writing a script to help me be a better PFE. I need to automatically create calendar appoints to remind me to get all my PFE “paperwork” in on time. my colleagues will know what I am talking about when I say my TRs. My thought was to simply use the Outlook.Application Com object to search for certain calendar appointments whose subject begins with a certain word. When Windows Mobile 5 was released it was released without the ability to do GAL lookup. To deal with this a add-on was developed from the product team that allowed you to do both GAL Lookup and check Free-Busy. Well in Windows Mobile 5.0 GAL lookup was added but we still don't have Free-Busy look up.
