  • DWWTWT?: November 6

As discussed here , I did a lot of walking today. Some of it was even from the hotel to the Convention Center, so I'm going to count this as a competitive, and therefore walking, day: Telecommuted: 32 Walked: 124 Walked to the Bus: 17 Drove: 118 Did Not Compete: 76 As mentioned yesterday , I plan to walk the rest of the week. Stay tuned! -wp

  • TechEd Developers 2007 Barcelona: Day 2

Day 2 of TechEd Developers was also the only day of the conference during which I had no presentation obligations. Since I slept through my first intended tourist interval on Sunday , today was the day to see things that don’t involve hotels, convention centers, or airports. What a day I had! I started at the Temple Expiatori de la Sagada Familia ( Temple of the Sacred Family ). This indescribably epic structure has been under construction since 1882 and is expected to take another 30 years to complete.

  • DWWTWT?: November 5

The hotel in Barcelona is a block from the Convention Center, and I didn't rent a car.. so of course I walked, albeit a fairly short distance: Telecommuted: 32 Walked: 123 Walked to the Bus: 17 Drove: 118 Did Not Compete: 76 Tomorrow is likely to be non-competitive for tourist activities, and I plan to walk the rest of the week. Stay tuned! -wp

  • DWWTWT?: November 16

In attempting to assess this morning's possibilities, yesterday I said: [I]f anything goes wrong in the morning I'll have to ditch the bus and fire up the MG . Well, nothing went wrong (if you don't count designing a day where I needed to get up at 5:10 a.m.); I got Zach to his practice, brought the car home, and immediately headed off towards the Sound Transit 545 bus: Telecommuted: 4 Walked: 69 Walked to the Bus: 4 Drove: 23 Did Not Compete: 14 Can I go 5-for-5 for my week in downtown Seattle?
