About the Podcast
WHY
We created the podcast because frankly, we get overwhelmed with all the reading we have to do. We figured you do as well and would appreciate a break from email, whitepapers, etc. So, here's a way to get caught up on what's happening and get some UC knowledge while you're at your desk, in the car, at the gym, wherever.
HOW
Man, did we go low budget for Ep. 1. I picked up a couple of lapel mics at Radio Shack and a 3.5mm stereo splitter and plugged them into the mic port on my laptop. I used the trial versions of some audio editing software (to be named later when I decide which one I'm gonna buy) to record and edit out some of the noise and mix it together. If you're an audiophile or just have a keen ear, I'm sure you can tell how low budget we went. But don't fear, we plan to get legit shortly and I will post an update here when we get all the equipment lined up.
