System Center User Group Meeting – 18/11 i Taastrup

Användargruppen för System Center har bjudit in Wally Mead och tillsammans med danska UG  för System Center bjuder de nu in till gemensam träff i Taastrup i Danmark.

 

System center User Group - Meeting
Welcome to this meeting in the Swedish System Center User Group. We are very excited to offer you the opportunity to come and meet with one of the most popular Microsoft speaker of all time.
The idea behind the event?
With this first event we hope to start a tradition, where we can get together, get some valuable information about new and current products. Our events will also be your opportunity to socialize with fellow System Center administrators and exchange knowledge.

10:15 – 11:15 Introduction to System Center Service Manager 2010 (Anders Ravnholt)
11:15 – 11:30 Break
11:30 – 12:30 What's new in Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 (Wally Mead)
12:30 – 13:15 Break and Lunch
13:15 – 14:15 What's new in Configuration Manager 2007 R3 (Wally Mead ) 14:15 – 14:30 Break
14:30 – 15:30 What's new in Configuration Manager v.next (Wally Mead)
15:30 – 16:00 Q&A session – “Ask the experts about all System Center products”.

Practical information
Date: 18th. of November 2009.
Time: The event will start 10:00 and end 16:00. Doors will be open from 09:00. Please show up for registration 15 minutes before the event begin for registration.
Address: Teknologisk Institut, entrance 8, room 80, Gregersensvej, 2630 Taastrup (Copenhagen Denmark)
Refreshments: Coffee, Tea, Water, Soft drinks and sandwiches.
Audience: IT Professionals and Administrators.
The event is a joint event between member of the Danish and Swedish System Center User Groups. For this reason sessions will be held in English.

How do I attend?
To attend you need to be a member of the Swedish System Center User Group. If you are not yet a member, click here to join us.
For all members please send a mail to event@scug.se.
Make sure you provide us with:
• E-mail subject “SCUG Meeting 2009”
• Full name and Company name as you would like it to appear on your badge.
We have a limit of 50 seats. So don’t hesitate to join.

BIO

Wally Mead
Wally has been with Microsoft for 17 years, and working with Systems Management Server since SMS 1.0 was in development. He started in the training group developing and delivering training courses on SMS 1.0 through 2.0, then moved to the SMS product group to assist TAP customers in the SMS 2003 and Configuration Manager TAP programs. He still works with customers through hands-on labs, presentations, and demonstrations at industry events, as well as working with customers in TAP programs, and monitoring the System Center Configuration Manager TechNet forums.

Anders Ravnholt

Ander has been with Microsoft for over 4 years and is specialized in System Center products and works as a consultant for Microsoft Services. Over the years Anders Ravnholt has specialized in Early adaption programs and has run customer TAP programs for Operations Manager 2007, Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2, Service Manager 2010, VMM vNext and Operations Manager vNext. He is currently involved with two Service Manager TAP customers under the MCS TAP program and is also responsible for developing training on Service Manager for Microsoft learning. Has over 11 years of System Management experience including Monitoring, Software Distribution, User Identity, Backup and Virtualization.
