Norway part of EMEA pilot project
Hi all
Just want to let you know that Norway is now part of a new pilot project with Switzerland in the creation of a new fully enhanced techNet homepage. As always we are trying to enhance our service to It PROs in norway and we are hoping that the new portal for IT pros will allow faster and easier search mechanisms on local pages instead of having to visit global sites. Launch is due in November and some features include :
Automatic updates on events and webcasts
RSS feeds
Security bulletins,
Knowledgebase search
We are also working on building local webcasts using our Speaker community.
Dont know what speaker community is: These are some of the best people Microsoft Norway can offer in terms of product knowledge. Currently we have 7 members, support Microsoft in presenting at the MS days. These are not Microsoft employees, rather highly technical and smart people who mostly come from our partner system.
Before I close my laptop and go home for the week I just want to remind you that we have a major launch in Norway 10th of november.
