An interesting Friday read. I think rebuilding is a bit strong as I wasn't aware that we had collapsed. Perhaps remodelling would have been a better term to use?
I agree that was a bit harsh. But Wired wants to sell magazines, so they go for the sensational head lines. Back in 96 they publishes the famous Apple logo with thorns around it with the title "pray" It was a bit much as we have now seen not so much true.
