Soooooo......long time no blog posting. Bad blogger. Slap on the wrist.

Anyway I’d like to make a few excuses for lack of posting but there isn’t really anything that excuses my behaviour although I did have a very busy time for most of last week (and a bit of the previous week) preparing for and then speaking at a break-out session during the 2007 Office System Developers Conference at the Novotel in Hammersmith.

To anyone who attended my session on Information Protection, don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about following up on the two questions that I took away with me and will post something shortly. For those of you out there that missed the event (and also for those who did attend) here is a link to the Micrososft Office Developer Centre that has lots of useful content including Updated Developer Content. You can also view Bill Gates’ webcast from the US event.

Whilst I was looking for the link to this content I stumbled across this very interesting Forrester Whitepaper entitled ‘Developers, Get Ready: 2007 Microsoft Office is a Serious Application Platform’ which provides a good overview of “the first Office release overtly designed as an application platform, as well as a suite of personal and team applications.” Couldn’t have put it better myself.
