I just thought I share my initial views on some of the latest builds of Windows Vista. To put it simply, Vista rocks! We all know that it looks different form XP and that is of course the first thing that adds to its ‘rockness’, it is an eye-catching and pleasurable experience to use Vista, I love the changes that we have made to Alt-Tab and the Taskbar pop-ups and of course 3D Flip or whatever we are calling it now (if you’ve seen it then you’ll know what I mean!). I also like the way that programs etc are displayed in the Start menu; no more menus cascading right across your screen! Work within one area of the display! That is of course if you still find it necessary to access your programs in this old fashioned way. You may have read/heard that Search is everywhere in Vista and perhaps you may have thought ‘big deal’ but the amount of time that I save by using the Search in the start menu to find and launch programs is amazing. It’s so convenient!

And don’t try to tell me that you could just put shortcuts on the desktop to prevent having to open up the ‘All Programs’ menus. Yes I know that you could but that would get in the way of all the funky gadgets and clean Windows Vista Aero lines of the OS if you clutter up your desktop with shortcuts.

Ciao for now.
