How to quickly find all the voicemail messages in your Exchange Unified Communications Inbox

Microsoft Ltd recently implemented the Unified Communications features of Exchange 2007 resulting in voicemail messages for our conventional desk phones being received as email messages with audio attachments.

Following two weeks holiday I wanted to filter out all of my voicemail messages so that I could prioritise them over traditional email messages.

I found that the quickest way to list all of the voicemail messages was simply to arrange my Inbox by "From" in alphabetic order leading to all messages received from (phone)numbers being listed at the top.

Having written this message I wonder whether prioritising voice communications over email makes sense or whether in a converged environment I should treat them equally...
