Support for MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 systems without Service Pack 1 will end soon

When working on customer problems I often see that WSS and MOSS Service Pack 1 has not been applied.

All customer which have not yet installed SP1 should be aware that support for systems without SP1 will end on January 13th, 2009. So in around 6 weeks.
See here for details: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifesupsps#Office

After January 13th, 2009 support can only be provided for systems which have SP1 installed!

In case you have not yet evaluated and deployed SP1 you should plan to do this as soon as possible to ensure that your machines are in a supported state after the above listed deadline.

Hi Koen,

check again. You will also find the following entry:

Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 0 13-Nov-2006 13-Jan-2009

The support service pack lifecycle for MOSS is the same as for WSS.

Cheers,

Stefan
